Deutsch, English, Nederlands
Kinderbildnis der Liselotte von der Pfalz und einer Spielgefährtin (A likeness of Liselotte of the Pfalz as a child, with a playmate).
The princess offers a leafy snack to a nibbling sheep while resting her left hand on a 'houlette'. The spoon-like forged iron tip ('la feuilette') was ideal for scooping stones to hurl at lambs or sheep, or for hurling balls through targets such as the rotating hoop or ringball or cloish.
